Dr. James W. Lohr and his wife, Mary, sold a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 2 Carla Lane in West Seneca to Joseph and Katrina R. Labuda for $305,000 on April 27.

The 2,062-square-foot house was built in 1997.

Dr. Lohr, a nephrologist, is a professor in the department of internal medicine at the University of Buffalo State University of New York School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He also serves as the chief of nephrology at Buffalo VA Medical Center.

He earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry from the College of Wooster and his medical degree from the University of Kansas.

The Lohrs also sold a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 52 Woodshire N. in Amherst for $137,500 in May 2000.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 324 home sales in West Seneca during the past 12 months, with a median sale price of $119,000.
